Hi my name is Katrin and the grey lady next to me is called rrRenate.
I create collages that I expand by painting and embroidery. My works are fueled by femininity, over whose corporeal surface I wander and fathom the stories underneath. I am interested in the contradictions that arise between external expectations and the inner longing for freedom in and on a female body.
